Scope of Work. The Work consists of:

ORG 060 – Boude Storey Middle School Renovations -

Project consists of the following:

1. Provide security updates including cameras, card access readers and door contacts

2. Provide secure front vestibule

3. Replace service entrance switchgear

4. Replace fire alarm system

5. Provide exterior lighting controls

6. Replace exterior lights with LED lights

7. Replace lighting controls

8. Provide/replace IDF/MDF air conditioning

9. Remove and replace ceiling with new acoustical lay in ceiling tiles and grids (select areas only)

10. Paint select previously painted interior surfaces.

11. Replace exterior doors

12. Provide new wayfinding site signage

13. Provide new marquee sign located at front entry

14. Provide new room graphics and way finding signage

15. Provide caulk joints as all previous exterior surfaces and wash brick.

16. Replace spray foam roof system.

17. Replace sidewalk and variouslocations

18. Remove and replace service yard drive

19. Provide interior lighting controls

20. Replace interior lights with LED lighting

21. Install / provide air conditioning at boys gym

22. Grease trap and slab

23. Mechanical / HVAC improvements including new split system AC units, roof top units, condenser

control pumps, chiller, boiler and exhaust fans.

24. Plumbing improvements including washer/dryer connections, water heaters, cold & hot water

piping, dilution tank, hose bib replacements, grease and waste pipingreplacement

BUDGET: Total Estimated Construction Budget (CCL + Allowances) for CSP 207457 $6,446,915.86

PRE-BID & LOCATION:

A pre-proposal meeting will be held via Zoom on 08/05/2024 at 10AM for all interested parties. This

meeting is not mandatory, but information discussed will be extremely helpful in preparation of the

proposal.

All general contractors and sub-contractors are encouraged to attend this meeting. Contractors will meet A/E(s)

and PM at each school to start site tours. The first site tour will take place immediately following the pre-proposal

conference. The following is the schedule for all site tours:

BID-DATE & LOCATION:

All Construction Services procurements must be physically delivered to the Construction Services office, at the

Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 800 Dallas, TX 75231.

(Call 972.925.7200 for directions). Delivery to other locations will result in rejection of a CSP.

Completed CSP Package Part 1-A, 1-B and 1-C are due on Wednesday, 9/4/24 2:00PM (local time).

Completed CSP Package Part 2 is due on Thursday, 9/5/24 3:00PM (local time).

Any materials received after the respective closing dates / times will not be considered.

The District will open and read the names of the proposers and prices submitted in responsive CSPs beginning at

3:00 P.M. local time upon submittal of Part 2 of the Package, at Dallas ISD Construction Services, Linus D. Wright
